A disturbing video originally broadcast by United Television (UTV) has ignited public outrage after capturing the grim discovery of a lifeless body beneath the Circle Underbridge in Accra.
According to UTV’s report, the victim was initially struck by a 207 Benz bus at Kasoa. Eyewitnesses at the scene of the accident reportedly compelled the driver to take the injured individual to the hospital for urgent medical attention.
However, in a shocking turn of events, the driver allegedly diverted the journey and instead abandoned the wounded victim under the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Underbridge during the night.
Eyewitness accounts suggest that a group of local drug users witnessed the disturbing act and attempted to alert nearby shop owners. Unfortunately, their warnings were dismissed, with many assuming they were under the influence and hallucinating.
The victim’s lifeless body was discovered by pedestrians the following morning, sparking outrage and deep concern over the incident and the lack of response when early warnings were raised.
As of now, the identity of the deceased remains unknown. Authorities are yet to issue an official statement, but public calls for justice and accountability are intensifying as investigations continue.
